Un coeur quaker
Pour l'anniversaire de Gaëlle, j'ai brodé ce petit coeur quaker, qui me plaisait beaucoup. Pour celui-ci, j'ai choisi un lin Edimbourg couleur crème, et le fil de soie Cherry de la collection Waterlilies de Caron. Le montage fut une vraie torture pour mes yeux, toile blanche, fil blanc, ce n'est pas parfait mais je me suis appliquée !! Il s'agit d'un diagramme gratuit de Janice Wood, disponible sur ce magazine en ligne, Interweave, ici.
For Gaëlle's birthday, I stitched this small quaker heart, which I like very much. I have used a Zweigart Edimborough cream linen, and the lovely "cherry" silk thread from Caron. Sewing has been really tough for my eyes, white fabric, white thread, it's not perfect but I worked hard on this one !

J'ai préféré le laisser tout simple, sans cordelette ni pompon, je trouve que la couleur du fil de soie se suffit à elle-même.
I preferred to leave it very simple, without any cording or tassel, I think the gorgeous variegated colour of the Caron thread speaks for itself ...
