Boîte brodée 2
Je m'étais beaucoup amusée à recouvrir ma première boîte de tissu et de broderie (rappel ici), et je ne fus pas longue à en faire une deuxième, justement pour un échange avec Su comme elle l'a proposé sur son blog. Pour revoir la boîte que j'ai reçue de sa part, allez voir ici.
Cette fois-ci c'est un motif quasiment monochrome qui orne le couvercle. Deux tons de rouge, le DMC 814 pour le plus foncé, et le 304 pour le plus vif. J'ai choisi ces deux tons pour assortir la broderie au galon Julien Faure que je voulais utiliser pour le tour de la base de la boîte.

I wanted to match the pattern with the colours of the ribbon I had chosen, with two reds ; I went for the dark red DMC 814, and for the bright one, 304. This "tulip motif" is an extract from the Ackworth Book of Patterns, a bible !
Comme pour la première boîte, j'ai fait un petit fob à ciseaux coordonné. Ici j'ai repris le motif de la tulipe sur une face, et les initiales de Su sur l'autre, ceci en 1/1.
As for the first box, I made a matching scissors fob, with the tulip motif on one side, and Su's initials on the other side, stitched one over one.
A l'intérieur également de la boîte, du chocolat et des petits nougats français, pour ravir les papilles !
I placed inside the box some chocolate and french nougat too, for her pleasure !
