Déjà fini depuis quelques semaines mais il a fallu l'encadrer ... voici enfin la totalité du tableau dévoilée à vos yeux. La phrase en dessous est : "The needle is my plough with which I sew so beautifully and skillfully" qui signifie plus ou moins : "L'aiguille est ma charrue avec laquelle je couds si joliment et élégamment", enfin bon, par charrue, comprenez l'outil, l'instrument, quoi ;-))


Tadam !! At last you may say, here's my "Landscape" stitchery done. In fact it is finished for some days now, but I had to frame it and the framer is far from my home.  The sentence in the lower part is " The needle is my plough with which I sew so beautifully and skillfully" ... perfect for me, uh ??? ;-))))

Je n'ai pas mis beaucoup de temps à choisir la baguette pour l'encadrer (l'Eclat de Verre) ; celle-ci m'a immédiatement séduite par son côté ancien ! Elle n'est pas très large pour laisser la part belle à la broderie, assez étroite.


For once, I was very quick in choosing the frame in the framing store. It's not too large and has a vintage look that I like very much.  I was happy to have a 20% discount on that too ....

Un autre diagramme similaire dort dans mes placards, de The Workbasket également ... il s'agit d'"Americana", un long sampler dans le même esprit. Peut-être vais-je m'y attaquer prochainement ?


Another chart from The Workbasket is called "Americana" and is similar in size and style ... maybe I will start this sometime ? Maybe after my summer vacation ! ;-)

J'arrive au bout de cette jolie fresque, à mon allure de sénatrice ;-) Ultime motif à droite, cet arbre à sept feuilles, bien collé à la maison (non, non, ce n'est pas une erreur), avec quelques fleurs à ses pieds ...


Here's the final stitch (on the right) on this landscape chart. The seven-leaves tree, next to the big red house. 

Mais la broderie n'est pas pour autant terminée, il reste une partie à broder sous ce beau tableau !

But this is not completely finished : there is an ultimate part to be stitched under this landscape !

Déjà (ou enfin !) la partie douze de cette fresque The Workbasket ... dernier motif à gauche, il s'agit d'un massif de fleurs violettes, assez vite brodé, avant de passer au dernier motif de droite, que je vous dévoilerai la prochaine fois.

This is the ultimate pattern on the left side of "The landscape" ... a bunch of purple flowers, quite an easy and quick stitch.

Bientôt la fin de cette paysage d'inspiration hollandaise ....

Voici bien longtemps que je ne vous ai montré ce "Landscape" .... car je n'ai pas beaucoup avancé ! Je bloquais un peu sur cette maison massive qui me rebutait.

I gave no news about this WIP for a while .... I was a bit lazy and was not very inspired by this massive house on the right of the chart.

J'ai même du téléphoner à AprilBlue pour bénéficier de quelques encouragements  , elle qui a terminé en trois coups de cuillère à pot, et en un fil s'il-vous-plaît !!

I called my friend AprilBlue so that she sends me good vibes and encouragements   , she stitched this "Landscape" very quickly, one over one ... ;-)

Bref, profitant d'une semaine de vacances, j'y suis venue à bout et donc voilà ma maison, partie 11 !!

Anyway, I had some time because I took one week vacation, and here is THE house, part 11 of "Landscape" !

Si vous aviez déjà des petits indices sur l'inspiration de ce sampler au cours des épisodes précédents (sabots aux pieds de la fille et du garçon, quelques tulipes colorées ...) voici un détail qui vous confirme ceci sans plus laisser de place au doute : ce moulin arbore fièrement à son sommet le drapeau des Pays-Bas, et abrite en son coeur les fleurs symbole de ce pays.

Some clues were already given concerning the inspiration of this sampler : boy's and girl's clogs, tulips here and there ...) now here's a detail that confirms it, no doubt ! This windmill proudly wears the colours of the Netherlands, and shelters in its heart some tulips, symbol of this nation.

La partie 11 du diagramme est .... assez importante (sans être toutefois ardue) mais j'espère vous la montrer brodée dans un délai raisonnable.
