Suite de la petite maison
Voici où en est le "Little house sampler" de Ewe and Eye and Friends ... bien avancé pendant les vacances, mais pas encore terminé. Beaucoup de point lancé sur ce diagramme, cela prend du temps ! J'ai choisi une toile 14 fils au lieu du 12 fils préconisé et je m'interroge un peu sur le point lancé à deux brins : aurais-je du utiliser un brin à la place ? (sachant que d'autres points lancés sur la fiche sont à exécuter avec un brin également) ....
Here's my "Little house sampler" from EEF as of today .... I have progressed in a significant way during my vacation last week, but not as much as I wish. Lots of satin stitch, sometimes with one ply, sometimes with two. As my fabric is a 34 count linen, I'm wondering if my satin stitch with two plies is not too "coarse" ... I work all cross stitch with one ply of thread.
Je dois maintenant terminer le contour de la broderie (commencé en bas à gauche), toujours au point lancé mais cette fois-ci avec un seul brin.
I have to finish the outline ot the design, in satin stitch with one ply of thread. Then it will be done !
